LTC William J. Baxley, Jr.
with Dave Ross, the PSNCO for the unit. LTC Baxley was commander
of the unit from its activation
at Fort Hood, Texas, until 1 April 1968 when he became the Americal
Divison ACofS G3 and was
replaced by a LTC Kelley. LTC Baxley served as the Division G3
until 28 Sep 68 when he was
replaced by MAJ Colin Powell (General Officer and Secretary of State).
